To obtain a 5 Year Indian Origin Visa, please send:

• Your valid original passport(s). It must be valid for at least the next 190 days, with at least two blank pages remaining. Note: If your passport has been recently renewed, you will also need to post your older, expired passport.
• Two recent, quality, identical passport photographs (45mm x 35mm) taken against a white background (the background must be white!) glued to the indicated space on the application form.
• A completed Indian Visa Application Form printed from this website only. If you are unable to download our application call us and we will send you one by mail. The application may be filled out by hand. Please ensure the signature is identical to the one on your passport.
• A Photocopy of your Birth Certificate, not older than 6 months.
• Proof of your Indian Origin. Proof is qualified as one of the following:
  • Copy of the Applicant’s Indian Passport/ Surrender Certificate of the Applicant.
  • Copy of the Applicant’s Parent’ s Indian Passport /Surrender Certificate of their Indian Passport along with the applicant’s Birth Certificate.
  • Copy of the Applicant’s Wife’s\Husband’s Indian Passport or Surrender Certificate of his/her Indian Passport along with the applicant’s Marriage Certificate. (If claiming Indian origin by virtue of spouse’s (Wife/Husband) Indian origin)
  • Copy of the Application made to UK Home Office to acquire British Nationality.
  • In absence of any of the above documents, an affidavit signed by the First Class Magistrate from India about Indian Nationality.
